Debt API Update: Support for JWT Authorization

The WebMoney Debt Service has introduced support for authorization using JWT tokens (JSON Web Token). This approach simplifies integration and enables secure API access without the need for certificates or key-based request signing — the token contains all required permissions in encrypted form.

Authorization tokens can be created and managed on the page: https://debt.webmoney.com/Tokens.aspx

A detailed description of the updated interface is provided in the documentation.

WebMoney Launches JWT-Authorized API and Webhooks Notification System

WebMoney Transfer is rolling out a revamped API featuring JWT (JSON Web Token) based authorization, providing a streamlined and more secure way to access interfaces without the need for certificates or key-based signatures. This new architecture makes integrating WebMoney with external platforms, modern web services, cloud solutions, and No-Code systems easier and faster than ever before.

In tandem with the API update, WebMoney is also launching a Webhooks service – https://webhooks.web.money– enabling instant notifications about WMID-related events. Users can specify a URL within their settings, and the system will send a POST request in JSON format to that URL each time an event occurs. This unlocks the potential for direct integration with process automation platforms like n8n, Zapier, Make.com, and others.
